A couple of observations: either Phoenix hates half-priced wine, they hate Wednesdays at Urban Seven Martini Kitchen... or they hate this place.
Maybe the 8,000 degree temperature scared society off?
Either way, a couple of firsts in Dinner Tour history tonight:
- first time we were the only patrons in a restaurant
- first time server completely forgot to take someone's order (coughcoughme... he claims I was talking while he was waiting to get my order) --- in fairness to them, they did take my order later and comp the meal. I give USMK credit for that.
- First new parent to the group since Week 1 in Mr. Magi... very happy to see him among us.
Out-the-door with tip: $28.50 / person. Not half bad. (though was anyone blown away by their food? I ate 30 minutes ago and I can barely remember what I ate)
Next dinner tour: 8/18/10... Mart's selection!
